Investment Operations Analyst
Be a part of the investment accounting team at Missouri’s largest defined benefit pension plan. We are looking for an organized and motivated individual who will provide extensive support for our Investment and Accounting departments, and help PSRS/PEERS staff, management and Board of Trustees stay informed about investment activities and performance. Our Investment Operations Analyst will perform a variety of analyses, maintain records and provide administrative support.
At PSRS/PEERS, our award-winning, world-class institutional investment program fuels the majority of the funds needed to provide pension benefits for more than 286,000 Missouri public school personnel and their families. The market value of invested assets for PSRS/PEERS is approximately $56.8 billion. The primary focus of the investment program is to achieve an annual return of at least 7.3% over long periods of time. The Systems attempt to reduce overall portfolio risk by diversifying into several asset classes including both public and private investments spanning both domestic and international markets.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
- Candidates should have at a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
- Investment or accounting experience demonstrating progressive responsibility is preferred.
Benefits & Salary:
Salary is commensurate with experience and education. HSA, vision and dental insurance, and pension plan with lifetime retirement benefits and five-year vesting. Three weeks’ paid vacation and three weeks’ sick leave per year to start, and 11 paid holidays each year.
