This team focuses on installing high quality and detailed installation work to ensure customer's orders are manufactured to world class specifications.
Job Summary and Job Functions
- Installing casework, architectural mill-work for commercial and residential projects locally and across the state of Michigan
- Ability to problem solve concerns/issues that arise on the installation job-site
- Maintain a strong communication trail with the customer onsite
- Sending accurate feedback and documentation of projects to project managers as installations progress
- Travelling, possible overnight as needed.
- Implementing measurable quality standards and checklists throughout the installation process
- Produce high quality, detailed work based on standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Precise and consistent work output
- Willingness to cross-train and work in the shop as needed.
- Ability and willingness to follow safety standards and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Other Duties

- Carpentry and installation experience required
- Ability to use all types of tools necessary for the job (power tools, hand tools, etc)
- Able to work effectively with a team as well as individually
- Experience with laminate, veneers, solid surface, stainless steel, highly considered.
- Knowledge of cabinetry, construction, and reading Architectural blueprints
- Analytical and technical abilities
- A strong work-ethic, and flexibility to work varied shifts. Overtime as needed.
- A positive and professional attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivation with an ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Ability to use hands/fingers to handle or feel
- Consistently will operate machinery to install cabinetry and other wood products
- Will occasionally climb stairs or ascend ascend/descend ladders to hang or service items
- Constantly positions self to lift, adjust and move cabinetry for installation
- Talk/hear communicate, detect, converse, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange information with coworkers, managers and customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Ability to see, detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess while installing on customers job site.
- Must be able to carry weight, lift, move, transport, position, and install heavy cabinetry and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more from delivery point to installations location.
